Three Cuts of Silage with Just One Application of Seaweed and BioN

This summer, Dave Edwards took us out into the fields to see first-hand how Edwards Advanced Seaweed and Easy BioN are performing on grassland.

After cutting silage on 6 June, the fields received one application of Edwards Advanced Seaweed and Easy BioN just a few days later, on 10 June. When the crop was cut again on 8 July, the results spoke for themselves — thick, healthy grass and excellent regrowth ready for another cut.

“We’ve now had three cuts of silage off this field, with only one application of seaweed and BioN,” says Dave. “For approximately £35 per acre in fertiliser over 12 months, that’s not bad going!”

The herbal ley, established last year from Oliver Seeds, continues to thrive, producing dense swards and strong growth throughout the season.
