EASy BioN is approved for restricted use in organic systems by the Organic Farmers & Growers. EASy BioN contains billions of bacteria of which there are 8 different strains, some of which fixes a continual supply of Nitrogen, others cycle phosphate and potash and other trace elements into your crops. This works for up to 9 months on one application.
Maintaining soil biology is vital:- the biodiversity of the soil has been heavily impacted with the over-use of chemical fertilisers which have starved the natural soil bacteria resulting in a reduction in both quantity and biodiversity.

When used in conjunction with Edwards Advanced Seaweed or Edwards Seaweed, EASy BioN will give a continual supply of Nitrogen for up to 9 months, therefore reducing farm expenditure and your carbon footprint whilst maintaining or even improving yield. When combined, they increase biological activity, improve soil structure, increase root mass and plant health.
Soil bacteria provide a pathway for the plant to access nutrients within and the soil. In return, the plant feeds the bacteria with its exudes enabling the bacteria to further multiply and further increase the plants access nutrients. This cycle between plant and bacteria results in a healthier plant more capable of resisting disease and environmental stresses.
Application
For grassland we recommend an application of 250g of EASy BioN and 5l of Edwards Advanced Seaweed or Edwards Seaweed per hectare in Spring. Further applications of Edwards Advanced Seaweed or Edwards Seaweed without BioN, may be required to feed the bacteria and the plant when making multiple cuts or if overstocked.
For cereal crops we recommend an application of 250g of EASy BioN and 2L of Edwards Advanced Seaweed or Edwards Seaweed per hectare at growth stage 20 followed with a further application of Edwards Advanced Seaweed or Edwards Seaweed without BioN at 2L per hectare at growth stages 30-32 and 1L per hectare at flag leaf.
EASy BioN is fully soluble and can be mixed with diluted Edwards Advanced Seaweed/Edwards Seaweed at the time of spraying.
EASy BioN in solution is ‘live’ and once diluted must be used within 24 hours.
Storage and handling
Avoid temperatures below 4 degrees centigrade and above 50 degrees centigrade.
Store in dry conditions.
Once diluted use within 24 hours. Use within 24 months of manufacture.
BioN is available in 1kg and 2kg net containers.
